Heart Ball (The Red Dress Ball)

The Red Dress Ball has been a favorite on the Greenville social scene for the past seven years. A lively and entertaining event that includes live and silent auctions, cocktails, mixed hors d’oeuvres stations, wine tasting and dancing, this is the premier social event recognizing the Heart Association’s mission-related activities in Greenville.


Spinx Classic Golf Tournament

A kickoff party with food, drinks and a silent auction will start the festivities Sunday night. The tourney will then spill onto three different courses: Chanticleer, Riverside and the newly redesigned Furman University course. The event is open to the public, teams of individual playing positions and sponsorships.


St. Francis Mud Run

Location: Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center
The St. Francis Mud Run, a partnership between Goodwill and the Marines’ Toys for Tots program, is a four mile obstacle course, styled in Marine Corps boot camp tradition. Run by teams of four, the race features over 30 obstacles, including everything from climbing walls, cargo nets, low crawls, rope bridges, swings, stream runs, and of course, a gigantic mud pit. The race provides strength and endurance challenges for athletes of all levels. Also available, is the Kids' Zone, a quarter mile course for children 4 and up, as well as various field activities that will be taking place all day.


The Harbor Run

Location: Greenville Drive Stadium
Join some 400 taking to the streets to race against domestic violence. With this eighth annual run, participants have their choice of a certified 8K race or a two-mile Fun Run/Walk. Both will begin at Drive Stadium and loop through Cleveland Park. The run and surrounding activities are family friendly, with a children’s play area, flowers and T-shirts for all participants.


BMW Charity ProAM

Location: Thornblade Club
The BMW Charity Pro-Am is the only tournament on the Nationwide Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with Nationwide Tour professionals in a four-day better-ball competition over three courses. Amateurs, celebrities and pros rotate between three courses on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the final round on Sunday.
